Do you wanna die?

Don't get scared or mistake this post by looking at the blog title. Here now we are going to discuss a serious issue. Do you have any idea? Fine first answer this question....

If you are really sick, then by that time where do you want to go?

Surely the answer will be Hospital. Am i right..? Fine then i want all of you to correct it, Yes. Because the reason is the condition of today's hospitals are making me to feel like that. Many people are reaching the hands of Hospitals to save their lives, but now a days some Hospitals are changing that thing. They are not carring about their patients and there is no respect for human lives and values. Many people lost and still losing their lives because of going to hospitals, it's true.

I thought that these incidents are happening only in India, but one recent incident made it as false. So i came to an conclusion that there is no exceptional cases for these type of incidents. Here i will put some links for some incidents please check it out and share your views about the conditions of your local hospitals.

Do you wanna die?

Doctors have to understand their responsibility. Hospitals have to follow systematic procedures right from the enrolling of patients to the shift timings of doctors. They must understand that they are dealing with human lives and that their efficiency can prevent many people from suffering. When I was in college we used to eat in a mess. That mess owner was around 35 yrs.He didn't have children,so he underwent some medication, but during an operation he died. This came in SUNTV. The poor wife till that time didn't have a child but now she has lost her husband too...Hope doctors realize what they really are...

@Linkin : Hope that, bad time won't come for any one.....

@Rachel : Why these bastards/bitches are linking bribe with human lives? Is money that much important compared to our lives? What they are going to achieve through earning this much money? Oh God God God!!!!

@Aneesh : Welcome to Selerines World. Death sentence to people who fails to protect human lives, because of not giving bribe... Then you see...

@Stanley : Yeah too bad friend... Many are aiming only for it, not respecting any thing... Nature will answer every thing..

@Arun : Welcome to Selerines World. Yeah you are right... Even the conditions of village side hospitals is really bad!!!!

@Shri : Welcome to Selerines World.

Near my house there is a hospital called life line. Once a boy got admitted for he got hurt in his head while playing. He was walking in with only little pain. But fuckers made it serious telling he has to be operated. Results is the boy died. Money minded bastards. many kind of incident has happened before like even my friend went there for curing his fever(normal fever) but he was made to rest himself in ICU and the bill was 30000. I call people who has no respect to human life and who respects money as BASTARDS.

Medical facilities have developed a lot in India. We are equipped with the latest technology, but sadly, the caretakers are very much Irresponsible that its out of reach of many people.
As far as private hospitals are concerned, Money is the main factor. Although they provide good 'Hospitality', they are also irresponsible.(Remember, the movie RAMANA?).

And the worst thing is that of the bogus medicines and doctors. I myself have found a fake Aspirin once. We also often see counterfeit doctors getting arrested, god knows how many are still there. Two years back, there was a doctor in my area who prescribed 'Crocin' for throat pain. ROFL.
Aargh, So, as long as we have such men, people have to die so pathetically.

Bonjour Selerines!
Excuse me, but I was very busy to come to see you… To answer your question, in France we probably have the best system of health in the world! Don’t laugh; it’s not me which says that, it’s an English investigation! We have a system which is based on solidarity and the distribution… I.e., those which earn money pay for those which do not have any. However, like everywhere in the world, the dysfunctions are possible…

In the Phil, a number of hospital-caused deaths is also reported. It is really scary most especially, if you or your loved ones are admitted. These hospitals must review their calling of public service.

hospitals are money eaters..

if you don't have money they'll let you die.
but if you do..
they'll eat your money.

sad, but true..

I guess stuffs like this are unfortunately bound to happen regardless whether it is a developing or developed country. I have had some major issue with a private hospital's doctor, so bad that it seemed the one way to settle it was by reporting the doctor to the country's medical board. He was obviously in this field to rake in as much money as possible without caring a bit about the wellbeing of his patients. He subjected me to unnecessary expensive diagnostic tests which I found out from a second and third opinion wasn't at all needed. It's not like I exhibit cancer-symptoms in the first place.

Regardless, I found faith in a practicing doctor at the government's hospital. She impressed me with her attitude and professionalism. I asked her once why she did not consider moving into the private field and earn more money, and her reply touched me...she said that by choosing to practice privately, she wouldn't be able to help patients that are in dire need. To her, money was not the motivation factor. She was driven by passion. Now how many other doctors can say the same thing?

It's a sad truth here in the Philippines that most hospitals lack good facilities. Sometimes, this becomes the reason why people tend to think that they are not well taken care of when in fact they are. It's just that these "hospitals" have to prioritize the patients who needed their help the most.

I don't know the situation in India and the USA very well, but my point of view would be that hospitals need a great deal of money and constant investments in order to function properly.

In France, as Gwendal says, we have a good health system, but we do put a lot of public money into it, and governments have been trying to reduce investments for years.

It seems the whole World is going through a phase of cutting down on community services :(

Hey there. I read a lot about the women who died being ignored on the hospital floor. This stuff is just unbelievable.

Hi,
In my country in public hospitals many times the doctor say: "you need "X" medicine but in this moment we do not have it,you must buy in some drugstore.
This is a big problem because many people don´t have money to buy a medicines.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

I read the article about the woman who died in the ER waiting room. Talk about a terrible incident of neglect.

Health care in America is getting worse, not to mention more expensive every year. Almost 50 million people can't afford health insurance here, and therefore can't get the life-saving care they need. We need to adopt some sort of basic health plan for all citizens.

Yes I read that too, that is so horrible and My heart goes out to this poor woman which these people have not treated humanely.

Hospital drama has hit most countries and it is up to the government to make these crucial decisions. All we can do for now is sit and wait for things to be done in the right way.

It is not a good feeling to lose lives this way. What if you were in those shoes?
