India : Untouchability is a Sin, Crime!!!!!

Hi guys and gals........ Here am going to discuss one important topic. I want you people to share your views and discuss it in a serious manner.

In India, so many things are happening which are good as well as bad. But the main and sad thing is "Untouchability". Even though our country is a developing one, even though it is standing upfront in the software field and so on... These type of stupid things are not getting rid of our country. For this the main reason is "Illeteracy".

I want you people to share your answers here, to get rid of these stupid things in future...

What will be the correct solution for this?

Don't say illiteracy as the only reason, it's shame to see even educated people behave in cheap way.

i think nowadays it has come down i am not saying fully but to some extend...its in youngsters hand to rid it away fully...

@Rachel : Ya rachel you are correct, i accept your point... Did any one know about the "Madurai" untouchability incident...

@Ram : I accept your point dude..... What we should do to change the old people mindset? Tell me.....

RamPrasad said...

we have to kill the politicians ...then most of the problems in our country can be solved... :)

Selerines said...

@Ram : If politicians are doing like that means... Why we people are not thinking and acting based on that? they are not the only reason yaar(s)....

Well i don't know what to say, In my limited experience I think Untouchability has come down in years and now its only a whit.

Selerines said...

@Visu : What you think about Madurai incident yaar?

Anonymous said...

Well I go with Visu. It has come down but not entirely. There are still lot of news about it but still it has come down a lot compared to the old generation (before 2000. I think thats not old generation :D ).

Aiya, appadi yenna thanya nadanthuthu maduraila ? Solli tholaingalen.

Selerines said...

@Bharath : You are absolutely correct dude... But still even in the city also the untouchability is there through "B*****s" caste. How many of you know that yaar?

@Visu : Ada pavi... I thought that you know about the incident....

In Madurai, upper caste people built a wall in the corner of the street to get hide from the lower caste dalit people.

Very sad to see these type of stupid things in our country....

The basic root for such discrimination is our own parents and secondly, the society. Parents define the boundaries for their children early on.
I have my own experience. In my childhood when i visited my grandma's house for vacation,i used to play with the servant maid's children, 2 other boys.Slowly ppl in my family started to forbid me from playing with them.

What i meant to say is that the parents have to bring up their children in the right manner! At least from this generation!!

There are a lot of shapes, religions share us, but the GOD I feel inside gives me an answer to this problem: if we are opened to science, live moral life and understand the meaning of creation, the wall inside us explodes without dust.
....tks for inviting me here.

Hi Shiva! Thanks for your comments in my blog.

Cheer up, sooner or later poverty issues in India will get resolved. India is now considered as one of the fastest growing economies - listed now as an "emerging market".

But government alone cannot shoulder the entire weight of the poverty problem in any country, individuals must also do their share in becoming a solution to the problem. I was a volunteer for 19 years in an NGO that helps the poor, and for me that is my way of somehow making a difference.

God bless you! Have a nice day...
