** Australian Cricket - End of an era!!

All the cricket lovers knows that Australia rocked the entire cricket world for the last 10 to 15 years. But in recent years they lost and losing their moment. According to me the headache for Australian cricket team was started from their Sydney Test match with India. It is such a controversial match, where Indians got cheated completely. If the umpiring decisions are correct means, India would have lifted the test series against them. Anyway don't feel South Africa has now answered the Australians for the questions from India. They defeated the Australians in a desperate way and they really deserve the victory too.

No-one should take victory over Australia for granted, in any form of sport; they are too resourceful a people for that. Yet panic is already spreading through the local media after a fortnight in which Ricky Ponting's Australians have lost two Tests they should have won, and with it their 16-year unbeaten record at home.

The front page of The Australian proclaimed that "A great era has ended ... Unfortunately, the next 12 months promise to be even worse. Things are so bad, England now appear to be favorites to win next year's Ashes series."

Australian sports fans will not be too sorry to see the back of 2008 after their series defeat to South Africa.Right???
