Time has come for the first batch students to leave for L&T Infotech Training. I wish them all a good luck, to finish their training successfully. They all are leaving by September 20th. May God Bless them all......

L & T Medical Test successfully completed!!!!!

Hi friends..... I am very happy to inform you all that "I successfully completed my L&T Infotech Pre-Employment medical test" today(07/05/2008). Yesterday(06/05/2008) i got the medical form from the company. Today i went to "Apollo Speciality Hospitals, Nandanam" which is near to my home by 7:30 A.M. I filled up one form and got the Apollo ID card from the reception. Then i completed my lab tests, X-Ray, ECG, Physical examination and so on.

For L&T Infotech friends. Here i will list out the procedures to be followed to complete the medical test successfully.
1.) After you got the mail, go and collect the medical form from the company.
2.) Probably on next day, try to be there in the hospital by around morning 7:30 A.M. So that you will easily finish all the tests, without waiting in the queue. The hospital is at Nandanam signal opposite to "Karumuthu Center"(red building).
3.)At the reception(upstairs), not the ground floor. Show your form and they will ask you to fill one form.
4.) After that they will give one Apollo ID card and file to you, which contains your Apollo ID number and so on.
5.)After that go to MHC which is in the opposite direction to the reception. Give the
files to that person in the room. Then you will be asked to fill out the L&T medical form, fill it there itself.
6.) After that you will be asked to go ground floor, near to entrance to finish your lab tests(Urine test, Blood test), X-Ray.
7.) After finishing it come to the MHC counter again, then show the form to that person.
8.) Then ECG will be taken to you in another room.
9.) Height and weight will be checked at the MHC counter.
10.) Then one doctor will ask you some details about your family health background and take a note on it in the file which was given to you.
11.) Another doctor will check you. It is called "Physical examination".
12.)Finally one person in the MHC counter will ask you to fill up the feed back form.
13.) Medical test over....
14.) Keep every thing with you after finishing the test.
15.) Inform the company about medical test.

Now all the pre-employment things are almost got over.. Now am waiting for the Call letter. Probably i will be leaving Chennai by the July end/August first week to Mumbai, to join my company.

Exam fever : All the Best!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi friends............ Anna University exams are in front of us. Just two days before only i bought the books for my semester exam. Hardly six days to go for our exams. Personally i know that many of us have bought the books just now only. All the best for you people. Don't loose your self confidence. From my point of view eighth semester exams will be easy only. Surely we can score more than 75%. So i hope that you all will score more than that. Anyway study well and try to score good marks.

VIS : Best project - IBM certificate, 200/200, Job offer!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi friends....... I am glad to inform you people that we successfully finished our semester project. Here i would like to share my experiences that we experienced for the last seven months while doing our project.

During seventh semester,IBM announced the competition The Great Mind Challenge, 2007 for all the engineering college students through out india. The conditions in the competion are participants should use only the recommended IBM products like DB2, WAS, WASCE and the IDE's like Eclipse and technology Java/J2EE and so on.... Actually as a engineering student(s) we don't know any thing about the IBM products and their working. We know only two things Java/J2EE and then how to work with Eclipse IDE. From one side Muruganandham is registered for the competition and searching for the team mate and on other side myself not even registered for the competition, very eager to participate in the competition. Then we both discussed about the project and finally he registered for myself and for our team. Our team name is Java Hurricane. Our project is Vehicle Identification System using RFID technology.

Then we started to cut our daily semester classes and to prepare our project synopsis. It came around 60 pages and then we submitted that to IBM. Then we designed the RFID device through one of my friends circle. The device worked well with Vb program. But the competition constraint is we should not use VB and all. Because last time itself IBM rejected the project that was done using VB. So we decided to do the program for RFID using Java and we wrote the program also. But it not worked properly. Then we identified that the baud rate is not correct and we changed the baud rate to 1200. Finally we got the solution for RFID device, it worked sussessfully.

Then we both started to work day and night, especially Stalin hats off to him and finally we completed our project succesfully and sent to IBM office which is near to my home at Alwarpet. After two weeks time i got the phone call that "Your project got selected Mr.Sivakumar". I was jumped and got excited, then informed to Stalin. even he too excited a lot. And then we did our second round at Anna University. Now we are waiting for our certificate. Recently we got a job offer from one U.S.A based company at a salary of 3.6 p.a.

Am really thank full to all my classmates, teachers, parents, area friends and then finally to Indirect motivators, who supported us through out the project. Last but not least thank God..... Our selfconfidence is the only weapon that we used for the success of this VIS project. Now all are in the hands of GOD!!!!!!!

We successfully finished our semester demo. Our HOD informed that VIS is the best project in college!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi friends..... Here i gave the answer for the Gowthaman's blog post.... In that post gowda said am looking like a Devil.... One more person said i will get a chance in Wrong Turn 3...... Here i will put some images of mine, you people just have a look at it and tell me whether am really looking like a Devil or not?????????? Don't try to make fun out of this dude's!!!!!!!!!!!

Alert : Ice formation in lab AC.... By Director

Today as we all know our model exams got started. According to my roll number my seating arrangement is at Lab - II where ROFL guy Vinod and Mokka guy Alayan will sit. With the help of my experience that i gained at Chepauk (Refer to my chepauk post) i got some content to write in the Mobile Computing paper. Now am going to tell one important matter, that is our college lab AC's suddenly got started to work in a fine manner. But as we all know it is our college AIHT so what to do? Because of some problem the AC started to work in a different manner. Due to that the room got chilled quickly. By that time the real hero of this post our department director came into lab and argued some things with the lab assistant. After some time he suddenly said "ICE GOT FORMED IN THE AC, SO ITS JUST GOT STARTED TO SPREAD ALL OVER THE AREA. THATS WHY IT IS CAUSING SO MUCH CHILLNESS IN THE LAB. SO ITS BETTER YOU SWITCH OFF THE AC." Then every one in the lab started to laugh by thinking about our director's intelligence and his brain power. Its better our college should appoint some person to transfer the ice pieces that was formed in the AC into our college water coolers. Atleast we can get some chill water from the coolers. Right?

Sweet and Bitter tastes at the same time.........

My college days are going to get over within few days.... From one side it's really a bad feeling for me. But on another side am really happy. No more tears...! No more stupid feelings...! No more thinking about any passed clouds...! Am so happy now.... Enjoying with my L & T friends as well as with my college friends. My frequent visits to Elliot's beach, Chennai Citi Center specifically to Inox theaters, Sathyam theaters, Besant friends home etc,. are making me to feel really happy at all time. Thanks to God for bringing me out of all nasty things. Friends keep in touch here. Still many more to come....!
